An assignment for my 3D Environment Modelling Module, as part of my first semester in the 2nd year of university. The focus of this assignment was to create a trim sheet and apply it to create an environment. Unique individual assets could still be made, but again, there was a focus on re-usability and modularity.
The inpsiration and main point of reference for this assignment was Dead Space. The theme had to be sci-fi based, but Dead Space offers a unique take on the sci-fi genre which I wanted to try and capture in my own work.
3DS Max, Photoshop and Unreal Engine 4 were the only pieces of software used in this project, as there was a focus on producing our own seamless textures and creating materials within Unreal Engine 4's material system.
